Unless you have tried reusable pads, you may not know that many styles are not shaped - so they are prone to moving around, either twisting or sliding back and forth along the knicker gusset - and wearers complain about having to re-adjust them throughout the day. They also found the bulky centre uncomfortable especially if they were sitting at a desk for long periods, and the synthetic fibres made them feel hot and sweaty, often caused irritation, and occasionally even inflamed areas of skin.

I spent three years developing reusable pads that avoid all of these issues.

Juno pads are made from fully traceable organic and sustainable fabrics, threads and components. They are hand-made by me (with a little help from friends and family) in my studio near Brighton.

It is always recommended that cloth pads are worn with a well-fitting pair of knickers.

The small light flow pad has an orange tab and is ideal for petite women and teenagers who have just started their periods. It has been designed for light bleeding or spotting, occasional pee dribbles and it is great for pregnancy discharge too. It is also a perfect partner to the menstrual cup.
The light flow pad has a lavender tab and is perfect for general day-to-day use - when your period isn’t too heavy or you're expecting it to arrive. It has been designed for light bleeding, spotting, discharge or occasional pee dribbles.
The heavy flow pad has a grey tab and is designed for heavy bleeding. It has an extra absorbent layer but without the bulky centre, making it really comfortable to wear.
The longer heavy flow pad has a fawn tab and has extra length at the front and back. It has been designed for people who need something a bit longer than the average pad. It’s just a matter of anatomy. It has extra padding, without the bulk in the centre and is perfect for heavy bleeding and particularly useful for postpartum bleeding too.
The overnight/resting pad has a red tab and is designed to wear for long periods of time - perhaps when you’re travelling long distance, working a long shift, sleeping or just chilling (duvet days included!). It is longer and wider at the back and because it fits snuggly into the groin it is less likely to leak at the sides when you’re asleep.
